The community of Gilman, Wisconsin, is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 20-year-old Tyler K. Lind, who tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The crash occurred around 11:30 a.m. on eastbound US Highway 12 near Airport Road, when Tyler’s motorcycle collided with a car. Despite immediate emergency response, he was pronounced dead at the scene by the Middleton Police Department.
Tyler was known for his infectious energy, adventurous spirit, and kind heart. Friends and family remember him as someone who made everyone feel valued and loved. One close friend shared, “Tyler had this way of making everyone feel like they mattered.” His passion for motorcycles reflected his fearless embrace of life, while his quick wit and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate the crash. Meanwhile, the Gilman community has come together in grief and support, with a GoFundMe established to assist his family.
Though gone too soon, Tyler’s light and love will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew him.
