It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic passing of Isaiah Wilson, a bright and beloved 15-year-old whose life was taken far too soon. Isaiah was struck by a stray bullet near James A. Reed Park in Kansas City on Tuesday afternoon, just one day before what would have been his 16th birthday.
Isaiah was known for his warm smile, kind heart, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. Whether spending time with friends, walking through the park, or sharing laughter with his family, he had a way of making the world a little brighter. His friends describe him as someone who always lifted others up, even in their hardest moments.
Though his time on earth was brief, Isaiah’s life left a lasting impact. He was a son, a friend, and a young man full of potential whose dreams were only beginning to unfold. His absence leaves a deep silence in the lives of those who loved him, but his spirit will remain forever alive in their hearts.
As his family, friends, and community grieve, we hold tightly to Isaiah’s memory and the light he shared. May he rest in peace, and may his loved ones find comfort in the love and prayers surrounding them.
Rest easy, Isaiah. You will never be forgotten.
